Pickled Oyster Mushrooms for Winter

Preserve delicious mushrooms and enjoy them in winter! I love mushrooms very much—not only cooking various dishes from them, but also picking them. The forest atmosphere itself inspires and gives a feeling of peace. Although due to lack of time I more often buy mushrooms at the store, they still never stop reminding me of the forest and its alluring silence. And when I open a jar of pickled oyster mushrooms in winter, I enjoy their taste and dream of forest walks.

Instructions

  1. Today I suggest making a preserve of pickled oyster mushrooms. 1. So, roughly chop the mushrooms, put them into a saucepan, and add the garlic. Stir everything and leave for 15 minutes. 2. Dissolve the salt and sugar in hot water, bring to a boil. 3. Pour the boiling brine over the mushrooms, add the vinegar. 4. Simmer the oyster mushrooms with the lid on for about 30 minutes. 5. Put the mushrooms into sterile jars. Before sealing, add a spoonful of vegetable oil to each jar. Don't let winter steal the coziness from your home! Open your preserves and enjoy!
