How to Marinate Frozen Honey Mushrooms

Delicious aromatic mushrooms all year round without harmful additives! I can't imagine winter without pickled mushrooms. I myself am far from mushroom picking, I'm afraid to buy them at the market, but I found a great solution for myself - marinating frozen honey mushrooms! And it can also be made just the way I want - with garlic or without, with onion or cloves... I couldn't have imagined how quick and simple it is - thanks to the internet for the help :)

Instructions

  1. Let's begin the "magic" of marinating: 1. Pour water into a large pot and place it over heat. When the water boils, add the frozen honey mushrooms and bring back to a boil, then boil for about 10 minutes. 2. While the mushrooms are cooking, make the marinade. Pour water into a saucepan and add vinegar, sugar, salt, garlic cut lengthwise, and seasonings to taste (for me, peppercorns, cloves, and bay leaf). 3. Bring the mixture to a boil. 4. Drain the water from the boiled honey mushrooms and place them into the still-boiling marinade. Boil the mushrooms in the marinade for another 10 minutes, then turn off the heat and let cool. 5. When the honey mushrooms have cooled, transfer them to clean jars, pour the marinade generously over them, and seal tightly with lids. Store in the refrigerator. After just 1 day, the honey mushrooms will be ready and you can enjoy them to your heart's content. Enjoy your meal!
